Where does the time go?

Once upon a time, not so long ago, we were blessed with a beautiful little girl. After 9 months and an anxious wait, we saw her sweet little face.



Little did I know how quickly the time would go....learning to walk, learning to talk, and now here we are, her first day of preschool!



Emerson started Sacred Heart Preschool this morning, with a few tears from her (actually more like sobs) and some tears from mommy. Jeff took her to school, which will be their morning routine each day. She cried the whole way there and then walked in with her teacher to the playground. I picked her up this afternoon at 330pm and you would never have known that she was scared or nervous this morning. She had a huge smile on her face and actually asked if she could stay and play a bit more. So hopefully tomorrow morning there will be less tears from the both of us.
