Tonight I had the opportunity to switch roles, from teacher to mommy. I loved the new view:)
Jeff and I attended Emerson's Back to School night tonight. We are so excited to hear about all the amazing things that Em has ahead of her this year in kindergarten. Learning all about shapes and patterns, over 100 sight words, animals and plants, prayers and symbols...so many exciting new things. She said they would even be writing sentences and small paragraphs by the end of the year...I can't wait (and I'll believe it when I see it:))
I have to admit that being on the mommy side, rather than the teacher side, is so much more fun and exciting!
Lots of love,
The Grady's

i am so glad that you have the chance to be the mom and see all the fun stuff the kids are doing!!!
It's it cool? They grow and learn so much at this age. Mason came home the other day explaining to me what a period and comma were- I was floored!
I had the same feeling. They ar going to learn SO much this year. It's so exciting :)
