Our annual gala is always an amazing event, but this year certainly topped all the rest! A few weeks before the event, the big news was released, George W. Bush had agreed to be our keynote speaker. You can imagine my excitement!!!
Leading up to the night, the security was tight, the anticipation was literally buzzing in the air. To say that it was a once in a lifetime experience is an understatement. Mr. Bush was an incredible speaker, drawing the crowd in. If I didn't respect him a ton before, I certainly do now.
