Welcome

Hello friends and family,

Well I got to thinking about all the emails and such that I either don't have a chance to respond to or don't have a chance to start...and I thought, what about a blog? Great way for me to keep everyone up to date with the goings on in the Grady Family. So here we are!

A quick update....

Brennan celebrated his 2nd birthday about two weeks ago. We had a great pool party, in our already warm weather. He is finally starting to talk a bit more. Although we just went to the dr. to find out that he has some fluid in his ears that may be causing some hearing loss. Might be an easy fix with some antibiotics, which we plan to try for the next 4 weeks. If those don't worry will be have to entertain the thought of surgery to put in ear tubes....but we shall see.

Emerson is doing great, growing up SO fast. We actually just went to our first of two orientations to her new preschool at Sacred Heart Catholic School. She is SO excited to start her "big girl" school. We are so excited to see how much she will learn there as well.

Jeff and I are busy with work. Jeff is super busy as usual, the whole idea of the "valley" slowing down for the hot summer months, seems to not be the case as much anymore. Traffic is just as crazy as usual. I only have 20 school days left (but who is counting!) in the school year. Then a fairly hectic summer ahead, with mini-trips, swim lessons, and playdates. Looking forward to some quality time with the kids.

Well, better get going. We hope this finds everyone doing well. Please check back often to see how we are all doing. I will do my best to update as much as possible.

Lots of love,
The Grady Family

Here are some recent pictures of the kids having fun in the pool at Brennan's birthday!

My niece had to have that surgery. My sister did not want to do, but eventually it needed to get done. It was very successful and she has not had any ear problems since.
